DANIEL KOWALSKI

Hailing from the greater New York area, Dan Kowalski made his writing and directing debut in 2005 with “The Scoop” during his senior year at University at Buffalo. In the following years, he continued his directing career with projects like “Overcrowded,” “Marty and Greg's Guardian Angel,” along with directing commercials.

He stepped away from the director's chair in 2014 to pursue a business opportunity in Africa, but during that time he rediscovered his passion for screenwriting. In 2021, his feature film script called “Detour” was optioned by Premiere Entertainment, and two more of his scripts were optioned in 2022.
