DAN HOOK

Hailing from Australia, Dan's passion for film started in 2001. Diving into the post production world, he quickly learnt the basics of editing, motion graphics, color and visual effects.

This led to him picking up crew positions on a couple of locally shot feature films, and started his venture into writing and directing his own short films, with his first short picking up first prize in the Short On Compassion film festival.

 

Since 2004, he has worked in Australia, the UK, and the USA on multiple projects spanning commercials, television series, web series, news casts, short films, and feature films. He moved to L.A. in 2017, hitting the ground running. When he isn’t working at various post houses on features and tv series, he is writing his own projects, or producing feature films with his producing partner.
